Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes and flavor combinations based on current trends and customer preferences
• Manage food handling processes with precision, including ingredient storage, portioning, and presentation
• Support food production during peak hours by maintaining high-quality standards and timely delivery of orders
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment, especially with pizza or similar dishes
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food safety management
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely
• Familiarity with dietary aide practices, menu planning, and food handling regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production settings while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with food industry standards for sanitation, safety procedures, and recipe adherence
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions precisely while contributing creatively to menu development
