Skills Training Support Service Centre Manager

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective leadership for the service centre, providing purpose-driven skills training support services to engage service targets, ensuring the centre’s day-to-day operations, administration and resources are managed efficiently
• Lead the planning and delivery of centre-based experiential and partnership programmes, activities and services to support Institution’s goals and community needs and to promote lifelong learning of new skills
• Translate Institution’s objectives into annual operational and activity plans, supported by prudent budgeting, financial monitoring and resource allocation
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with funding bodies and other stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and support service development
• Oversee the centre’s service portfolio, monitoring delivery standards, contractual or funding requirements, performance indicators and agreed outcomes
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Management or a related discipline
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in the social services sector, including a minimum of 8 years in centre management and project management
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work within tight deadlines
• A mature and resourceful leader with a strategic outlook, strong personal drive and creativity to respond effectively to evolving service needs
• Strong partnership development experience, with the ability to establish and expand networks with stakeholders to identify training gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
• Sound administrative and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to remain effective in a demanding work environment
• Familiarity with market trends of AI and new skills training, as well as practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Relevant qualifications and experience in training and counseling service preferred;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Practical experience in ERB programmes or related services would be a distinct advantage
