Skip Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skip Delivery Driver to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering skips to various locations, ensuring timely service and excellent customer satisfaction. This role requires a professional approach, a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills.

Duties

• Safely operate skip delivery trucks, in accordance with road safety regulations.
• Deliver skips to designated locations, ensuring accurate placement and secure positioning.
• Collect skips from clients and transport them back to the depot or designated disposal sites.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times and any potential delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each job completed.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure operational efficiency.

Skills

• Skip delivery driver experience is essential for this position
• Valid Class 2 Licence
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members professionally.
• Organised with good time management skills to meet delivery schedules reliably.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the role, including working outdoors in various weather conditions. This position offers an opportunity to work within a friendly, professional team where safety, efficiency and customer service are paramount.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £36,000.00 per year
