Sleepover Disability Support Worker

Supporting Abilities for Everyone (S.A.F.E.) is seeking Female Disability Support Workers to support a male participant with MND and Parkinson's disease located in Caulfield North.

• Experience supporting clients with MND /Bed bound *preferred*
• Personal care, assistance with medication and daily living requirements
• Must be an experienced support worker

CURRENT SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

• Inactive sleepovers 8pm - 7am (medication at 12am and 4am) Likely to turn active in near future.
• Afternoons 3pm - 8pm

We are looking for competent, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers who possess the right empathy, interpersonal skills and ethics to prioritise the care of our clients. We currently have casual opportunities available for all successful applicants.
Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Current National Police Check
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
• Valid Australian Driver’s License.
• A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Approximately $123).
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).

The right to work in Australia.

Pay: $41.00 – $90.00 per hour
