SLI Project Quality Assurance — Job Description

Position: Project Quality Assurance / QA – SLI Project

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections and audits of SLI installation, repair, and restoration activities.
• Check if technicians follow approved work procedures, technical standards, and project requirements.
• Inspect fiber optic/wire installations, connections, routing, tagging, and workmanship.
• Verify that completed jobs meet client/PLDT or project-specific quality standards before acceptance.
• Review job orders, completion reports, photos, checklists, and other documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, rework requirements, and safety violations.
• Coordinate with SLIs, team leaders, supervisors, project management, and operations to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct random field inspections/site visits and monitor technician performance.
• Track recurring quality issues and prepare QA reports and findings.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce repeat defects.
• Monitor whether corrective actions are actually implemented.
• Participate in quality meetings, toolbox meetings, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including proper PPE and safe work practices.
• Maintain records of inspection results, defects, corrective actions, and project quality performance.

Typical qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant technical experience.
• Experience in telecommunications, fiber optic installation, field operations, construction, or QA/QC is preferred.
• Knowledge of fiber optic/FTTH installation and troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Can conduct field/site inspections and identify workmanship issues.
• Good documentation and report-writing skills.
• Willing to travel to different project sites.
• Can work under deadlines and handle coordination with field technicians.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, checklists, audits, and corrective actions.
• Can drive 4 wheels and has drivers license
• Willing to be assigned in Malabog, Daraga Albay

Pay: Php14,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
