What they need
- assembling and disassembling equipment
- operating all slicing equipment in the department
- practicing strict sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure food safe products are being manufactured
- calculating bin requirements for production
- accurately weighing, filling, and folding products
- labeling and ensuring accurate inventory of bulk product
- documenting equipment inspections and reporting unsafe conditions or damage to product, equipment or facility
- accurately completing all paperwork required by the position
- assisting operators with daily production operations including
- operating all slicing equipment
- labeling product bins
- providing timely and accurate communication to other support areas concerning production needs
- other duties as assigned
