You’ll set up and operate a slitter/rewinder, verify measurements down to 1/16 of an inch, monitor quality, and keep material flowing safely and efficiently. You’ll move very large rolls with powered assist equipment, solve mechanical hiccups on the fly, and keep detailed attention on accuracy, cleanliness, and throughput.

- 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, Monday–Friday
What you’ll handle
- Operate slitting equipment to convert laminated materials into specified widths and lengths
- Support press, lamination, and pouch departments with on-time, in-spec rolls; prepare customer roll stock
- Set blades, tensions, and guides; perform changeovers and basic maintenance
- Use a standard ruler and gauges to confirm dimensions to 1/16 inch
- Move multi-hundred-pound rolls with equipment; keep work area organized and safe
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and keep production on track
What you bring
- 1+ year as a machine operator OR 2+ years of complex hands-on mechanical work (e.g., rebuilding engines, taking machines apart and reassembling)
- Age 18+ and able to pass reading and ruler assessments (pre-employment ruler test to 1/16 inch)
- Stamina to stand and walk for the full shift
- Fit to lift up to 65 lbs, and to push/pull and maneuver very large rolls with assist equipment daily
- Able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel; comfortable around chemicals and occasional strong odors
- Proficient mechanical troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Prior ISO environment experience in manufacturing or light industrial settings
- Background in lamination, packaging, or pharmaceutical industries (preferred, not required)
Training
We will train motivated candidates to master our processes and standards.
