SM_104 - CAE Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a CAE Engineer with strong experience in finite element analysis, structural simulations, and automotive component/assembly analysis. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in HyperMesh, OptiStruct, and Abaqus with good knowledge of linear and nonlinear analysis.

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 3–8 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Perform FE modeling and analysis of automotive components and assemblies.
• Create 1D, 2D, and 3D meshes using HyperMesh.
• Conduct Linear Static, Nonlinear, Modal, Frequency Response, Thermal, and Thermo-Mechanical analyses.
• Perform durability and fatigue analysis and predict component life.
• Carry out static and modal simulations using OptiStruct/Abaqus.
• Review results, identify design issues, and provide engineering recommendations.
• Support component testing, design optimization, and validation activities.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate with CAD, CFD, testing, and other engineering teams.
• Handle projects from estimation through final delivery and interact with customers when required.
