Based out of Cambridge, ON, Headquarters, Jamesway Incubator Company Inc. is looking for a **Small Assembler on Afternoon shift; 3:15PM to 1:45 AM, Monday to Thursday.**We take pride in being a leader in the poultry industry, committed to innovation and excellence. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a unionized manufacturing setting and making an impact in the Hatchery industry.

Responsibilities:

• Previous experience working inside a manufacturing industry preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments; torque wrenches, calipers etc.
• Read and interpret instructions, schematics, blueprints and drawings for assembling parts.
• Communicate drawing issues, defective or incorrect parts to Supervisor for quality assurance.
• Excellent time management skills to meet production targets & deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations & promoting a safe work environment.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attendance record.

Rate:

$26.77 + $1.50 afternoon shift premium.*

Experience:

• Mechanical assembly: 2 years (required)
