Small Engine Mechanic

The Role

The role will see you working at our Rockingham premises, working on a wide range of equipment from outdoor power equipment, ride on mowers and utility vehicles. You will play a key role supporting our customers with their service and repair requirements.

Role Requirements:

• Diagnose, overhaul, repair, maintain and test small engines
• Detect and repair electrical faults
• Carry out repairs/services as to manufacturers requirements
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers
• Able to work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, plus every second Saturday morning 8am to 12pm (penalty rates apply for Saturday)

Successful candidate:

• Proven experience as a mechanic or technician working with small engines preferably Trade qualified Small Engine Mechanic and/or Diesel mechanic.
• Have good time management skills.
• Hold a Current C Class licence.
• Be physically fit and willing to work well within a team environment.
• Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment if required.
• Have basic computer skills.
