Position Summary:
We are hiring a well-rounded Small Engines Mechanic with experience in variety of small engines and equipment. You’ll be responsible for servicing a range of machines including snowblowers, chainsaws, mowers, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
Repairs & Maintenance

• Diagnose and fix issues in small engine machinery (2-stroke, 4-stroke, carburetors, battery equipment, etc.)
• Complete seasonal maintenance for equipment such as snowblowers, lawn tractors, chainsaws, and trimmers
• Use technical resources to troubleshoot efficiently and accurately
• PDI of new equipment

Shop Operations & Documentation

• Keep clear records of completed jobs and parts used
• Follow manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and internal procedures
• Communicate effectively with service team and stay aligned on job priorities

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years’ experience working with small engines or comparable mechanical systems
• Familiarity with electric equipment, battery diagnostics, and motors is a strong asset
• Confident with tools, diagrams, and diagnostic software
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license (for occasional field service calls)
• Enthusiastic about learning and staying current with new technologies

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in shop and outdoor conditions year-round
• Can bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods
