Qualified Small Engine Mechanic Nowa Power Products — Bundaberg East, QLD

Nowa Power Products is looking for a qualified Small Engine Mechanic to join our workshop team.

As Bundaberg’s largest power products shop and a commercial equipment dealer, we support leading brands including Toro, Greenworks and Cub Cadet. Our customers range from homeowners to commercial operators who rely on their equipment every day.

About the role

You’ll service, diagnose and repair a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including commercial and domestic mowers, ride-on and zero-turn mowers, and other small-engine machinery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Completing pre-delivery inspections and preparing new equipment.
• Identifying and communicating parts requirements accurately.
• Recording work completed, labour time and repair findings.
• Working with our parts and sales teams to keep jobs moving.
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised workshop.

About you

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving mechanical problems. You’ll bring:

• A relevant trade qualification in small-engine or outdoor power equipment mechanics.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Experience with petrol engines and mower equipment.
• The ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• Reliable work habits and a focus on customer service.

Experience with commercial mowers, diesel engines, hydraulics or battery-powered equipment will be highly regarded.
