Small Engine Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in repairing and maintaining various types of small engine equipment and power sports. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of small engines and power sports.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Welding skills would be nice but not a must.
• Assemble and align components according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and repairs needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Mechanic in a dealership setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals related to repair.
• Experience with welding techniques desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interaction.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
