Small Engine Mechanic / Material Handler / Maintenance Technician / Shop Assistant

Comer & Cross Concrete Floor Coatings is hiring a Small Engine Mechanic / Material Handler / Maintenance Technician for our Philadelphia warehouse .

We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals who have a strong willingness to learn.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in: Small engine repair and maintenance, equipment management, warehouse work, Microsoft office, data entry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Diagnose and repair equipment including propane and electric grinders
• Load/unload pallets from trucks
• Check order quantities and input them into excel
• Package orders and ship
• Count inventory
• Manage maintenance logs and input new equipment
• Occasionally run product to crews
• Install ramps, shelves and winches in vans
• Build pallet racks and help organize the warehouse

PAY & SCHEDULE

• $20–$25/hour
• Monday–Friday
• 40 hours/week
• Paid bi-weekly

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong mechanical aptitude (Required)
• Shop, construction, flooring, warehouse or general labor experience
• Ability to lift 50–60 lbs regularly
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation to/from shop
• Strong work ethic and team mentality
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
