Small Group Tutoring Guide | Kind Academy Microschool

Monday to Friday, 9am to 2:45pm

Kind Academy is looking for a warm, grounded Small Group Tutor Guide to work closely with our learners across pods. We are a small, Reggio-inspired, project-based microschool serving gifted, twice-exceptional, and neurodivergent learners who deserve a learning space built for them.

This role is about relationship and small group support. You will work with learners in small groups and 1:1, help them access their academics and projects to bring the kind of patient energy that lets kids actually show up to learn.

You might be a great fit if you:

Have experience with gifted, twice-exceptional, or neurodivergent learners

Have experience supporting kids with ADHD

Love hands-on, project-based learning, STEM, engineering, and art

Practice Conscious Discipline or are open to learning it

Can shift between a kindergartener and a 5th grader in the same hour

Are warm, patient, playful, and dependable

Can hold structure without being rigid

Experience in microschools, alternative education, tutoring, special ed, homeschooling, or mentoring is a plus. What matters most is who you are with kids.

Pay commensurate with experience. If you want a small-school environment where you actually know your learners and get to help them grow into themselves, we would love to meet you.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Benefits:

• Employee discount
• Flexible schedule
• Professional development assistance
