If you're self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a team and are keen to develop your skills within a successful manufacturing business, we'd love to hear from you.

Shift Pattern: Average of 42 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern consisting of two to three 12-hour shifts followed by two to three days off. This includes a mixture of day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor line performance and help ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
  • Operate Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) as required.
  • Wrap, label and safely store finished pallets within the warehouse.
  • Ensure flour is packed to the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Complete and record all food safety, quality and Health & Safety checks in line with company procedures.
  • Follow clean-as-you-go principles and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure Small Pack packing lines and surrounding areas remain clean, hygienic and audit-ready at all times.
  • Identify and report engineering or machinery issues that are causing, or have the potential to cause, downtime, waste or operational inefficiencies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support production requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Line Manager.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • A desire to learn new skills and develop within a manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Computer literate and comfortable completing production records and basic system-based tasks.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to support others.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to work safely and follow food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) licence.
  • Counterbalance Forklift licence.
  • Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, packing or warehouse environment.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary.
  • Company pension scheme.
