Small Vehicle Supply Head

Job Summary

At AbleCold, reliable vehicle availability is critical to delivering efficient and timely cold-chain operations. As the Small Vehicle Supply Head, you will be responsible for building and managing the small-vehicle supply network, ensuring vehicle availability, negotiating with vehicle partners, and supporting smooth day-to-day transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the supply of small commercial vehicles across assigned locations.
• Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with vehicle owners, vendors, and transport partners.
• Ensure adequate vehicle availability as per operational requirements.
• Negotiate vehicle rates and commercial terms with vendors and vehicle partners.
• Monitor vehicle deployment, utilisation, availability, and service performance.
• Coordinate closely with Operations and Transport teams to fulfil daily vehicle requirements.
• Resolve vehicle supply, vendor, and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Track vendor performance, costs, and vehicle-related data through Excel/ERP.
• Develop and maintain a reliable network of vehicle partners to support business growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve vehicle availability, cost efficiency, and operational performance.

Requirements

• 6-12 years of experience in vehicle procurement, fleet management, transport operations, or vehicle supply.
• Strong experience in negotiating with vehicle owners, fleet operators, and transport vendors.
• Good understanding of the local small commercial vehicle market and vendor ecosystem.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and operational requirements simultaneously.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, last-mile delivery, or cold-chain operations will be an added advantage.
