Smart Metering Engineer

About The Role:

We're looking for a Smart Metering Engineer to staff our Audit & Field Applications Department.

During your day, you will:

• Manage and resolve technical errors or defects
• Coordinate with the Software Support Team to manage and resolve technical issues effectively
• Oversee and manage meter data collection systems, such as HES/AMI
• Work closely with the Software Support and Operation Team
• Engage with customers to develop and implement meter firmware and configurations, ensuring smooth operation of applications
• Actively contribute to process enhancements and advancements

To be a fit, you will need:

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related, quantitative fields

What you need to stand out:

• Experience in working with solutions, both software and hardware
• Meters/ Metering Equipment /Smart meters and configuration tools
• Familiarity with communication technologies (e.g. LTE, NB-IoT)
• IT Skills are a strong plus
• Headend (HES) / Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Systems knowledge is desirable
• Information and Data Processing Skills are desirable
• Experience and knowledge of electric utility smart metering (Telemetering) is desirable
