Position Summary

We are seeking a QA Analyst to support testing and quality assurance for the SmartRecruiters applicant tracking system and related integrations. The role will validate system functionality, recruitment workflows, integrations, data accuracy, and user experience across implementation, enhancement, and release cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, scenarios, scripts, and validation plans.

• Test SmartRecruiters workflows, including requisition creation, approvals, job postings, candidate applications, interview scheduling, offers, and onboarding handoffs.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

• Validate integrations with HRIS, background screening, job boards, assessment platforms, identity management, and reporting tools.

• Document defects with clear reproduction steps, evidence, severity, and business impact.

• Partner with business stakeholders, developers, implementation teams, and product owners to resolve defects.

• Validate configuration changes, release updates, data migrations, and workflow enhancements.

• Support test data preparation and environment readiness.

• Track testing progress, defect trends, risks, and quality metrics.

• Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, traceability matrices, and test completion reports.

• Support post-release validation and production issue analysis.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, application testing, or HR technology testing.

• Experience testing applicant tracking systems or HR platforms; SmartRecruiters experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles.

• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Ability to write detailed test cases and defect reports.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms.

• SmartRecruiters configuration or implementation experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing REST APIs, SFTP integrations, webhooks, or middleware.

• Familiarity with HRIS integrations and recruiting technology ecosystems.

• Experience with SQL or data validation.

• Knowledge of recruitment processes and employment lifecycle workflows.

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Postman.

• Timely identification and resolution of high-impact defects.

• Accurate validation of integrations and migrated data.

• Reduced production defects and regression issues.

• Clear, reliable QA reporting and release-readiness recommendations.

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
