SME I2P (Urdu Language Expert)

To support this mission, we are looking for a Urdu language expert with an accounting background to join our Invoice to Pay (I2P) team. This role requires strong Urdu language proficiency to manage invoice processing, vendor communications, and financial document validation for finance operations. You will serve as the Urdu-language point of contact, ensuring accurate interpretation and processing of accounting documents in Urdu and English.

Accountabilities:

• Invoice Payment Processing : Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and Travel Expense claims in Urdu and English, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Document Verification Compliance : Review, translate, and validate Urdu-language accounting documents, tax invoices, and statutory records to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Vendor Stakeholder Communication : Act as the primary Urdu-language contact for vendor queries, exception resolution, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Month-End Support Audit Readiness : Assist with closing activities, reconciliations, and audit documentation requiring Urdu language interpretation. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Urdu language proficiency - Speak, Read, and Write (mandatory)
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
• 3-5 years of experience in an MNC, Shared Services, or BPO environment with exposure to finance/accounting processes
• Ability to interpret and process financial documents in both Urdu and English
• Working knowledge of Invoice to Pay processes (invoice processing, exception handling, payments, TE)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in Urdu and English
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently handle queries

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience with SAP ERP and VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) tool
• Familiarity with tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, tax invoices)
• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles
• Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives within finance operations
