Duties

• Prepare a variety of smoothies, juices, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie station, including food handling and safety standards
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients, and provide exceptional customer service
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques to uphold health standards

Skills

• Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing
• Strong background in the food industry, including food preparation and food service experience
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with beverage crafting and serving techniques
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak times
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and measurement of ingredients
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
