Opportunity

We are seeking a SMP/Maintenance supervisor to join the team for maintenance works at Karara Mine Site, located 250km inland from Geraldton.

• Position is FIFO from Perthonly
• Full-time
• 14/7 roster – 14 days on : 7 days off / 7 nights on : 7 days off
• Applications will be accepted from emerging Leading hand stepping into supervisor position

Requirements

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/ Mechanical Fitting/Turning)
• Working at Heights (2 years from issued date) - Essential
• Confined Space (2 years from issued date) - Essential
• WHS Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors (SRMS)
• Section 26 - Essential
• White Card - Essential
• Current Driver's licence
• Proof of working right (Australian Passport / Birth cert / Citizenship cert or Visa & Passport)
• Preferably with filter building and Outotec larox experience
• A good all-rounder with trade-based skills and previous experience managing SMP/mechanical construction and maintenance works on a mine site.
• Strong sound knowledge of pump rebuilds and components.
• Attention to detail with strong quality control standards and high administration capabilities.
• Baseline Hydraulic experience.
• Ability to pass a PEM (including MUSC & FIT), DAS & Respirator Fit Test

Due to the primary 14/7 Site roster, we are only accepting applications from WA with valid working rights in Australia. The point of hire is Perth(WA).
