SMS Data Collection - Russian (Kazakhstan)

TELUS Digital is seeking participants in Kazakhstan for a short data collection project.

The task can be completed remotely from the comfort of your own home.

Summary:

In this project, participants will have to share SMS messages across different types, which will be used to train the client model to identify SMSs that contain OTPs (One-Time Passwords) to withhold these from unauthorized access.

These messages will have to be across 2 main types and should contain variety:

1. True positive - containing one-time passwords; these can be denoted as PIN, password, OTP, one-time password, delivery code, verification code etc.
2. Confusing - that could be confused by the model as containing onetime passwords, for example, include numeric or alphanumeric codes like phone numbers, identity numbers, confirmation codes, PNR numbers, support case IDs, promo codes, flight codes, order IDs, URLs (with alphanumeric characters).

Participants can change the PII (Personal Identifiable Information) for protection before sharing those with us. The user can change the actual OTP/PIN or other codes across both the message types, and replace them. Detailed guidelines will be shared by our team after you are shortlisted to participate in the project.

The messages shared will be going through the QA process and only passed data will be accepted for payments.

The execution will be in the TELUS Digital mobile app and the instruction for installation will be shared once onboarded to the project.

Expected Project Duration: October 2026-November 2026

Estimated time to complete the task : 1 to 2 hours overall.

Qualification path

Requirements:

To be eligible to be considered for the Project you must meet the following criteria:

• Device Type : Both android and iPhone SMS are acceptable.
• Stable Internet connection for the duration of the task.
• Knowledge of English as language is a must to ensure the instructions provided are understood as the core communication will only be in English.

The SMS messages should be either solely in the native language or in a bilingual format (mix of English and the local language) . SMS messages only in English will NOT be accepted.

Payment:

• 0.66 USD per QA passed message submitted.
• This is an independent contractor opportunity.
