SMT / Electronics Manufacturing Engineer (NPI & Process Optimization)

Job Summary

Hiring an experienced Electronics Manufacturing professional with strong expertise in SMT & THT processes, NPI, and process optimization. Responsible for end-to-end manufacturing, yield improvement, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SMT processes: Printing, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow
• Oversee THT assembly operations
• Lead NPI from prototype to mass production (DFM, Gerber review, feasibility)
• Optimize process parameters, reflow profile, stencil & printing settings
• Drive yield improvement & defect reduction (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)
• Develop FMEA, Control Plan, SOPs
• Ensure compliance with IPC, APQP, SPC, PPAP
• Lead team & collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Drive Lean, Kaizen, automation & cost reduction initiatives
• Support audit readiness & compliance

Qualification

• B.E/B.Tech in Electronics

Preferred

• Experience in Automotive/Aerospace electronics
