Salary: £35,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced SMT Operator to join an established electronic manufacturing business in Worthing.

The role will involve operating and setting SMT production equipment to manufacture high-quality electronic assemblies, working to production schedules and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate SMT placement and production equipment
• Load components and monitor machines throughout production
• Inspect PCB assemblies and identify defects or quality issues
• Follow engineering drawings, production documentation and work instructions
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working within an SMT or electronics manufacturing environment
• Experience operating SMT placement equipment
• Good understanding of PCB assembly processes
• Ability to read production documentation and component information
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team

Experience with modern SMT equipment, programming or machine set-up would be advantageous.

Pay: £35,000.00 per year
