SMT Process Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor SMT production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
  监控SMT生产制程，确保符合品质标准及客户要求。
• Analyze production defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  分析生产不良，找出根本原因，并制定及落实纠正与预防措施（CAPA）。
• Lead process quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve First Pass Yield (FPY).
  推动制程品质改善项目，降低缺陷率，提高一次通过率（FPY）。
• Review and analyze quality data, including SPC, process capability (Cp/Cpk), defect trends, and yield reports.
  分析品质数据，包括SPC、制程能力（Cp/Cpk）、不良趋势及良率报告。
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram Analysis.
  运用8D、5 Why、鱼骨图等工具进行根本原因分析（RCA）。
• Work closely with Process Engineering to optimize SMT processes including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow soldering, AOI, and X-ray inspection.
  与工艺工程团队合作，优化锡膏印刷、SPI、贴片、回流焊、AOI及X-Ray等SMT制程。
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, and production trials.
  支持新产品导入（NPI）、制程验证及试产工作。
• Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues, and prepare technical reports.
  调查客户投诉及内部品质异常，并提供技术分析报告。
• Develop and maintain Quality Control Plans, inspection standards, work instructions, and process documentation.
  建立及维护品质控制计划（Control Plan）、检验标准、作业指导书及制程文件。
• Participate in customer audits, internal audits, and supplier quality improvement activities.
  参与客户审核、内部审核及供应商品质改善活动。
• Ensure compliance with IPC standards, ISO quality systems, ESD requirements, and customer specifications.
  确保生产过程符合IPC标准、ISO质量体系、ESD静电防护要求及客户规范。
• Train production personnel on quality standards, defect prevention, and process control.
  培训生产及技术人员品质标准、缺陷预防及制程控制知识。
• Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools.
  运用精益生产（Lean）、六西格玛（Six Sigma）及统计分析工具推动持续改善。

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SMT Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, or PCBA manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of SMT manufacturing processes, including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, ICT, and Functional Testing (FCT).

• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability (Cp/Cpk), MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, and PFMEA.

• Familiar with ESD control standards.

• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Mandarin speaking will be added advantage, which need to communicate with colleagues and clients from China & Taiwan.
