SMT PROCESS TECHNICIAN

1. Perform line setup, changeovers, and shutdowns as per schedule and product requirement.
2. Operate and monitor SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and Through-Hole assembly equipment, such as pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and wave soldering system.
3. Lead the production operators to achieve output and yield target.
4. Monitor line throughput and yield. Take necessary actions to troubleshoot minor machine breakdowns and quality issues.
5. Ensure proper workplace management and implementation of housekeeping rules (5S).
6. Identify and report non-conformities or process deviations to supervisors or engineers.
7. Operate machines in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
8. Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
9. Ensure proper handling of PCBs and components, observing ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures.
10. Verify part numbers, lot codes, and quantities during material loading and unloading.
11. Accurately fill out related production checklists.
12. Participate in line improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean practices, and Kaizen activities.
13. Provide feedback to engineers and supervisors on the line issues, recurring defects, and improvement opportunities.

Job Requirement:

1. Provide feedback to engine
2. Basic understanding of electronics components and PCB layout.
3. Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
4. Familiarity with hand tools, soldering irons, and measurement tools (e.g., multimeters, calipers).
5. Capable of operating SMT machines, ovens, AOI, or ICT equipment (depending on department).
6. Willingness to work in shifts, standing positions, and cleanroom environments (if applicable).
7. 1–3 years of experience in electronics or PCBA manufacturing is preferred.
