About the role

HIT TECHNOLOGY INTELLIGENT SDN. BHD. is looking for a motivated SMT Screen Printer Engineer to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is a full-time position, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to start your career in the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) industry. Experienced candidates are also welcome. As an SMT Screen Printer Engineer, you will be responsible for machine installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to customers. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure equipment operates efficiently and delivers high-quality performance. Key responsibilities

1. Installation, setup, and commissioning of SMT screen printing machines.
2. Performing routine calibration, cleaning and preventative maintenance of screen printers and associated tooling
3. Troubleshooting printing defects and process issues, including solder bridges, insufficient paste transfer and print misalignment
4. Optimising screen printing parameters such as squeegee pressure, speed, separation distance and snap-off to meet product specifications
5. Developing and refining screen printing processes for new product introductions and design changes
6. Conducting process capability studies and statistical analysis to ensure printing processes remain within control limits
7. Participate in technical training and continuously develop knowledge of SMT screen printing equipment and processes.

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided. Candidates with relevant working experience are also welcome.
3. Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems is an advantage.
4. Willing to learn, with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
5. Able to work independently as well as in a team.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Willing to travel for local outstation and overseas assignments when required.
8. Possess a valid driving licence (preferred).
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
10. 5 days work week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
