About the role

PT.ZXP Technology Indonesia is seeking a SND - FTTH (Senior Network Design - Fibre to the Home) professional to join our growing telecommunications team. This is a full-time position based in Buleleng, Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the implementation of fibre-to-the-home network infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality FTTH solutions that meet both technical specifications and business objectives. This position is strategically important to our company's expansion in delivering next-generation broadband connectivity across Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive FTTH network architectures, including optical fibre routing, distribution points, and customer connection strategies

• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess locations for fibre network deployment and identify potential challenges

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, and specifications for FTTH projects

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are implemented according to specifications and quality standards

• Analyse network performance data and optimise designs to maximise efficiency and service quality

• Ensure compliance with relevant telecommunications standards, regulations, and safety requirements

• Liaise with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance

• Participate in capacity planning and network expansion initiatives to support business growth

• Mentor and support junior network engineers and design team members

• Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement corrective solutions

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in FTTH network design and telecommunications infrastructure planning

• Extensive knowledge of fibre optic technology, optical components, and FTTH system architecture

• Proficiency with network design software and CAD tools commonly used in telecommunications projects

• Strong understanding of telecommunications standards, including ITU-T recommendations and local Indonesian regulations

• Experience with project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for large-scale infrastructure projects

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in technical design work

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

• Experience with network optimisation and performance analysis

• Knowledge of current and emerging FTTH technologies and industry best practices

• Preferred: Experience with GIS mapping tools and experience working on projects in Southeast Asian markets
