Job description ServiceNow Developer

Resource Mgt/Planning & Reporting: The resource will have to have a top to bottom understanding of the resource module, best practices and how it can be used for organizational mgt, reporting, multi team planning.

Smartsheet Integration: the resource will need to have a strong understanding of integrating ServiceNow with other systems.

Permissions hierarchy and role based access: This will also have bigger impact on our armour desk (portal) future as we debate and discuss if everyone should have access to everything and be presented with every option. Our architecture needs to be reviewed and determined if we are aligned with best practices and if there should be a change with how permissions are assigned to different modules, forms, reports and dashboards. Once determined, what would be the best path to address and bridge the gap.

We are looking for Senior ServiceNow developer, responsible for technical specification and implementation of ITBM Modules (Resource Management and Project Portfolio Management is must, Demand Management, Financial Planning) and Snow integrations with various applications like smart Spreadsheet etc, ServiceNow Agent, Now Mobile, ServiceNow Onboarding, Portal

Secondary skills ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Problem, Knowledge), ITOM is must CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Orchestration

Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration tests.

Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes, and build this into the design

Understand the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project

Expertise level understanding of SNow required.

Expertise level programming skills.

Skills Required:

Candidate with minimum 8-10 years of experience and good Developer Skills.

Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations.

System integration experience using web services and other web based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP

Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules -Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Request Management and Reporting.

Exposure to ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools like Discovery and Orchestration and other applications like ServiceWatch, GRC etc.

Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.

Create and manage scripts and workflow

A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB

Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications.

Domain Separation and designing the Process and data flow within various domains

Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.

Custom UI Changes with usage of Web Technologies such as DOM, HTML changes.

Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholders
