Snow Maker

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Snow Makers to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and enjoyable winter recreation by creating high-quality snow conditions at our ski resort. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with outdoor equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of winter operations.

Duties

• Set up, operate and adjust snow-making equipment including towing guns and placement of snow-making hoses
• Perform regular runs to ensure snow-making equipment is running at peak performance
• Maintenance of snow-making equipment such as fixing guns and hoses
• Housekeeping/cleaning snow-making building including rolling hoses
• Stripping trails of all snow-making equipment in prep for grooming

Requirements

• Ability to operate atv's and snowmobiles to access snow-making equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Prior experience in snow-making or outdoor equipment operation is advantageous but not required
• A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills
