Snow Plow Operator

SNOW, say it isn't so?! Winter is coming, and we need you.

Seasonal Snow Plow Driver: $35–$38/hour, No CDL Required

SunCo Grounds Management is a locally owned lawn and landscape company in Omaha that's been serving commercial properties since 1991. When winter hits, our crews keep parking lots, roads, and sidewalks clear and safe, and we need more dependable drivers to join the team.

Why drive for SunCo?

• $35–$40 per hour
• No CDL required
• Uniforms provided
• Clear, straight-up communication about scheduling, so you know what's coming
• A crew that feels like a community, not just a job
• Bring a friend or relative along. We'd love to have you work together.
• A path to more: strong performers are often offered spring and summer positions with our landscape crews.

What you'll do

• Run snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks
• Clear snow and ice by hand with shovels and other tools when needed
• Salt or sand surfaces to prevent ice buildup and keep people safe
• Respond quickly when you're called out for a snow event
• Log the work you complete, and report any equipment problems or safety concerns

What you'll need

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to our shop
• Availability to be on call and work when it snows, during and after storms, including overnight and early mornings
• Ability to work outside in cold weather for long stretches
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and handle steady physical work like shoveling
• Snow plow experience is a plus, but not required
