Job Overview
As a Snow Plow Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. Your expertise in snow plowing and maintenance will keep our community moving smoothly, even in the harshest of winters. You’ll operate specialized snow removal equipment and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service.

What you’ll do

• Operate snow plow trucks and other equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and walkways.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including checking fluid levels and conducting minor repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for snow removal and related tasks.
• Assist with landscape maintenance during off-season, including lawn care, tree trimming, and gardening.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely response to changing weather conditions.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed and report any issues or concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating machinery in various weather conditions.

Basic qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or construction is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with excavators and hardscape installation techniques.
• Previous experience in snow plowing or similar roles is a plus.

Also hiring for sidewalk crew, no experience necessary.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
