CDL Drivers / Hoisting Licensed Snow Plow Operators

$60.00 Per Hour | 1099 | $500 Season Attendance Bonus

Commonwealth Construction & Utilities is hiring experienced snow plow operators for the upcoming 2026–2027 winter season.

We are looking for reliable, experienced operators with previous commercial roadway snow plowing experience.

Locations Hiring

We are currently looking for operators/ Drivers in the RT 2 Corridor

Equipment Positions Available

• Backhoes
• Front-end loaders
• Sidewalk snow removal machines
• Tri-axle plow trucks
• 6-wheel dump trucks equipped with plows and sanders
• Combination plow trucks equipped with wing plows for state highway snow removal

Pay & Bonus

• $60.00 per hour
• 1099 independent contractor position
• $500 bonus for operators who report to and complete every assigned storm throughout the season
• Company-provided equipment
• Seasonal, storm-based work

Requirements

• Valid CDL and/or Massachusetts Hoisting License appropriate for the equipment being operated
• Previous roadway snow plowing experience required (2 years Min)
• Experience operating one or more of the machines listed above
• Experience with wing plows and state highway operations preferred for combination truck positions
• Must be available for snow and ice events, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work extended hours during major storms
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Ability to report on short notice

Experienced operators only. This is not an entry-level position.
