BZ Maintenance Services Ltd is seeking dependable, hardworking Snow Removal Laborers to join our winter maintenance team in Fort St. John. If you love staying active outdoors, take pride in reliable work, and want to earn competitive winter wages, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Snow Clearing: Clear snow and ice efficiently from sidewalks, walkways, entryways, stairs, and emergency exits using shovels, scrapers, and snowblowers.
• Ice Management: Apply ice melt, salt, and sand to high-traffic pedestrian areas to ensure safe conditions for clients.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain clean and hazard-free properties according to company safety standards.
• Equipment Care: Safely handle, transport, and maintain company tools and your own equipment where applicable.
• On-Call Readiness: Respond promptly to weather events and dispatch schedules (including early mornings, late nights, and weekends depending on snowfall).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Reliable Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to various job sites throughout Fort St. John, often during early morning or severe weather conditions. A valid driver’s license is required.
• Criminal Record Check: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal record check (required for servicing certain commercial and sensitive client properties).
• Physical Fitness: Capable of heavy physical labor in cold winter weather conditions for extended periods (lifting, bending, shoveling).
• Reliability & Punctuality: A strong work ethic with a dependable attitude—when it snows, our clients count on us to show up on time.
• Previous snow removal or grounds maintenance experience is an asset, but a great work ethic is our top priority!
