Snow Removal - Sidewalk Machine Operator

We are hiring Sidewalk Machine Operators for the winter season. This role involves operating compact equipment to clear sidewalks, walkways, and other pedestrian areas during snow and ice events.

Equipment Operated:

• Sidewalk tractors with plows and salters
• Skid steers with plows

Responsibilities:

• Operate sidewalk tractors and skid steers to clear designated walkways and paths
• Apply ice melt and granular treatments to sidewalk surfaces as needed
• Perform daily equipment checks and report mechanical issues
• Follow site maps and route assignments provided by supervisors
• Maintain safe operation around pedestrians and property

Qualifications:

• Experience operating skid steers, compact tractors, or similar small equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold and severe winter weather
• Ability to work on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays during storm events
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
