About Us:
JP Property Maintenance is a trusted local company specializing in snow removal and property care services. Our reputation is built on providing reliable, high-quality service to clients in St. Albert and neighbouring areas. We’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our team this winter as Snow Removal Technicians.

Position Overview:
As a Snow Removal Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our clients’ properties safe and accessible during the snowy season. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position requiring attention to detail and a commitment to outstanding service. Having a Pickup truck is definitely preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, steps, and other designated areas using shovels, snowblowers, and other equipment.
  • Apply rock chips and ice melt as needed (supplied by JP Property Maintenance).
  • Maintain a professional demeanour while interacting with clients.
  • Monitor the weather to be ready for snow events.
  • Log job details, time in/out, and photos of completed work in our scheduling system.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance (e.g., cleaning and refueling).

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on expected hours.
  • Mileage reimbursement ($0.25/km) for route travel.
  • Training and access to our digital job management tools.
  • Opportunity for bonuses based on client reviews and performance.

Requirements:

  • Availability 24/7 during snow events (personal commitments should be scheduled around snow days).
  • Ability to work in cold, physically demanding outdoor conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Smartphone to log work and communicate with the team.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in snow removal or landscaping is an asset but not required.

Additional Information:

  • Employees are responsible for maintaining their equipment, including backpack blowers and snowblowers.
  • Safety is our priority! Proper winter gear, including thermal layers, gloves, and waterproof clothing, is required.

How to Apply:
If you’re ready to join a hardworking team and take pride in helping your community, we’d love to hear from you! Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to [email protected].

Let’s make winter a little easier for everyone—one driveway at a time!
