Snow Shoveler & General Labourer

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Full-Time Snow Shoveler & General Laborer to join our team for the winter season. In this role, you will play a crucial part in keeping commercial properties safe and clear of snow and ice. When not shoveling during snow events, you will assist with general laborer duties across our contract sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand-shovel and clear snow from walkways, entrances, sidewalks, and restricted areas.
• Spread salt, sand, and ice-melt compounds on pedestrian routes and steps.
• Perform general winter laborer duties and property maintenance across contract sites as assigned.
• Work safely and efficiently in cold and variable winter weather conditions.
• Follow safety guidelines and property clear-path protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor (lifting, bending, shoveling) for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to arrive on site or report to the shop on short notice.
• Desire to work early mornings and have sidewalks clear by 6 am.
• Ability to work in cold, winter weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-player attitude.
• Prior landscaping or snow removal experience is an asset, but not required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
