Snowflake Data Engineer

We are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain data transformation models using dbt.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data loading and transformation.
• Write efficient SQL queries and perform data validation and troubleshooting.
• Develop scalable and reusable data models using dimensional modeling concepts.
• Implement data quality checks, testing, documentation, and monitoring using dbt.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouses, and data models for performance and cost.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues.
• Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business teams.
• Follow best practices for data security, governance, Git, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Good experience with dbt, including models, tests, snapshots, seeds, and incremental models.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT and Data Warehouse architecture.
• Knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services.
• Knowledge of Python for data engineering/automation.
• Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
