Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5-9 years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable data warehouse and data integration solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using ETL technologies and cloud-native services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models, SQL queries, and reporting solutions.
• Support cloud migration, data modernization, and analytics initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD implementation, and production support activities.

Must-Have Skills

• AWS Cloud experience with services such as S3, EC2, EMR, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation (CFT), CLI/SDK
• Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with data ingestion tools such as Apache NiFi
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
• Ability to work in a global onshore/offshore delivery model

Good-to-Have Skills

• Power BI

• Agile/Scrum methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Cloud Technologies, and Database Development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
