Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Advanced SQL, Python, and dbt to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development, data modeling, data warehousing, and performance optimization, along with proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and Git for version control.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data transformations, and workflows within Snowflake.
• Build, test, and maintain data transformation models using dbt.
• Utilize Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
• Design and implement scalable data models and data warehouse solutions.
• Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics.
• Use Git for version control, code management, and collaborative development.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability across data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, and window functions.
• Proficiency in Python programming and data processing.
• Practical experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience in Tableau dashboard development and data visualization.
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data integration solutions.
• Knowledge of Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, and Dynamic Tables.
• Experience with dbt testing, documentation, macros, and incremental models.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
• Understanding of data quality frameworks, data governance, and security best practices.
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
