Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Snowflake Developer with 2-5 years of experience in cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, and data engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and cloud platforms, with a strong focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for loading and transforming large datasets.
• Create and manage Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
• Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through query tuning, clustering, partitioning, and warehouse sizing.
• Integrate data from multiple sources using ETL tools and cloud services.
• Implement data governance, security, and data quality standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Architects, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support data migration projects from legacy databases to Snowflake.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Database Development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and query optimization.

• Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Knowledge of Snowflake features including:

• Virtual Warehouses

• Streams & Tasks

• Time Travel

• Data Sharing

• Cloning

• Snowpipe

• Stored Procedures

• Views and Materialized Views

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms:

• AWS

• Azure

• GCP

• Hands-on experience with scripting/programming languages such as:

• Python

• Java

• Shell Scripting

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Understanding of data modeling concepts including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
