Snowflake Developer

Deloitte is seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to join the Technology & Transformation team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Snowflake, Oracle PL/SQL, AWS, and data warehousing solutions, with a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale data integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable data integration and data warehousing solutions.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions and database objects.
• Create and maintain stored procedures, packages, functions, and dynamic SQL scripts.
• Work with AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, Fargate, and Terraform.
• Support and maintain batch scheduling processes using Control-M.
• Perform data analysis and contribute to dimensional modeling and data warehousing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through all phases of the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release and configuration management activities.
• Develop, test, and deploy data solutions while ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide production support as needed.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with Control-M
• Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, Fargate)
• Experience with Terraform
• Understanding of SnapLogic (preferred)
• Strong SQL and Dynamic SQL development skills
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts (Oracle/Snowflake)
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Knowledge of SDLC, Release Management, and Configuration Management

Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech. or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
