JOB DESCRIPTION

Role : Developer/Sr Developer
Required Technical Skill Set: DBT, PLSQL, Snowflake

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

• In depth Knowledge on any ETL, DBT and Snowflake
• Development experience of ETL process to facilitate smooth transfers and storage of data
• Advanced SQL queries
• Scripting skills using Python

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to job scheduling/monitoring environments(Eg. Control-M)
• Data Build tool(dbt)
• Cloud migration experience

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Python and Snowflakes Snow SQL.
• Work with the end user to get data requirements, performing complex data mapping and developing/maintaining ETL programs to support enterprise data warehouse.
• Develop SQL scripts to load data from source systems and verify the data in target tables load correctly by ELT process.
• Development of scripts using Unix, Python, etc. for loading, extracting, and transforming data.
• Assist with production issues in Data Warehouses like reloading data, transformations, and translations.
• Develop a Database Design and Reporting Design based on Business Intelligence and Reporting requirements.
