Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Science / Snowflake Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and Python to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development, data warehousing, data modeling, cloud platforms, and data analytics.

The candidate should be capable of transforming complex datasets into reliable, high-quality data assets while supporting analytical and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Build and optimize data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation workflows.
• Design and implement data models to support analytical and business requirements.
• Integrate data from multiple sources across cloud platforms and enterprise systems.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse usage, and data processing performance.
• Work with large datasets to support statistical analysis, data analytics, and machine learning use cases.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for data security, governance, reliability, and pipeline monitoring.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in data engineering, data science engineering, or related data-focused roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.
• Experience with data transformation, data validation, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with data integration from multiple sources.
• Understanding of data analytics, statistical analysis, and machine learning concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Snowflake certification.
• Experience with Snowpark.
• Knowledge of dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Exposure to Databricks and modern data engineering platforms.

• Strong technical problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Good understanding of data engineering best practices and scalable data solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical implementations.
