Currently, for the new Seargin project we are looking for a Snowflake Technical Trainer.

About the role

We are looking for a senior, hands-on Snowflake expert capable of preparing and delivering practical technical training for Data Engineers, SQL Developers and BI professionals, particularly those transitioning from Microsoft SQL Server. The trainer will be responsible for training materials, SQL exercises, live demos and Q&A, demonstrating real-world implementation experience and enterprise best practices.

Task:

• Deliver a comprehensive 2-day hands-on Snowflake training covering Snowflake SQL vs T-SQL, platform features, data ingestion, Dynamic Tables, dbt, performance and cost optimization, Power BI integration and Snowflake AI capabilities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing, including strong hands-on Snowflake expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of Snowflake SQL and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), including differences, migration considerations and best practices.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, Snowsight, VS Code integration, database objects, metadata and SQL development.
• Practical experience with Snowflake Dynamic Tables, ELT pipelines, incremental/full refresh, TARGET_LAG and raw → curated → serving architecture.
• Experience with data ingestion and Azure integration (Azure Blob Storage, ADF, stages, COPY INTO).
• Working knowledge of dbt on Snowflake, including models, tests, lineage and orchestration.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning and cost optimization (Query Profile, caching, clustering, pruning, warehouse management, resource monitors).
• Knowledge of Snowflake security and governance (RBAC, masking, row access policies, tagging, Time Travel, cloning).
• Experience with Power BI and Snowflake integration, particularly DirectQuery performance optimization and reporting architecture.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Analyst and CoCo, with the ability to demonstrate practical use cases.
• Proven experience delivering technical training, hands-on workshops and live/online demonstrations
