Clean Utilities Validation Engineer

Role Overview

The Clean Utilities Validation Engineer will support the planning, execution, and lifecycle management of validation activities for clean utility systems within a GMP‑regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role focuses on post‑OQ validation, ensuring systems consistently operate within defined parameters and remain in a validated state throughout routine manufacturing.

The successful candidate will lead validation deliverables across CD, PQ, EMPQ, cleaning validation, process validation, and ongoing performance monitoring for systems such as WFI, PW, Clean Steam, Compressed Air, Nitrogen, HVAC, and associated distribution loops.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Validation Plans (VPs), Validation Master Plan inputs, and system‑level validation strategies for clean utilities.
• Prepare and execute Commissioning Documentation (CD) and Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols for WFI, PW, Clean Steam, HVAC, and compressed gases.
• Generate and maintain EMPQs for clean utilities, including sampling plans, alert/action limits, and monitoring strategies.
• Author and execute Cleaning Validation protocols for utility‑contact equipment and distribution systems.
• Support Process Validation activities where clean utilities are critical process inputs.
