Snr Project Manager/Manager /Snr Exec / Exec - Planning & Development (Johor)

Position: Snr Project Manager/Manager - Planning & Development

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and development of projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new developments in Johor Bahru.
• Liaise with relevant authorities to secure approvals and permits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors and government agencies.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets and manage cost-optimization strategies.
• Work closely with and review architects’ and designers’ work to ensure projects align with company vision and market demand.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare & review consultants’ appointments and process & verify consultants’ claims and payments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Property Development, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 6–12 years in property development with a proven track record.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of council and related authorities’ processes.
• Experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
• Knowledge of Building By-Laws.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with local property market trends.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, agile and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM and Microsoft Office.

Position: Senior Project Executive/Executive - Planning & Development

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with development processes including planning, design coordination, consultant reviews, authority submissions and Sales & Marketing coordination.
• Assist in managing architectural design coordination, leasing studies, fit-out coordination and tenancy planning.
• Support the team in achieving development approvals and project milestones.
• Organize and maintain project documentation and filing systems.
• Execute tasks as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience in property development, planning and design.
• Experience in consultancy coordination, construction, and approval processes.
• Exposure to mixed-use developments, including commercial and residential.
• Experience across the full design lifecycle and large-scale projects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, diligent and organized.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
