Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SOAR Engineer (Palo Alto XSOAR) with strong expertise in playbook development, automation, scripting, and SOC operations. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing XSOAR playbooks while working closely with Security Operations Centre (SOC) teams to automate security incident response workflows. The role requires a strong understanding of SOC use cases, incident response processes, and security automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Palo Alto XSOAR playbooks and automations.
• Automate SOC workflows and incident response processes.
• Integrate XSOAR with SIEM, EDR, ticketing, and security tools.
• Develop scripts using Python for workflow automation.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and CSIRT teams to improve response efficiency.
• Perform troubleshooting, enhancement, and maintenance of existing playbooks.
• Analyse security use cases and implement automated response mechanisms.
• Create technical documentation and provide operational support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in XSOAR playbook development.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of automation workflows.
• Good understanding of SOC processes and security incident lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
