SOC Analyst (CIS SOC)

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SOC Analyst to join our Cyber Security Operations Center team. The ideal candidate should have experience in SIEM monitoring, incident detection, threat analysis, incident response, and cybersecurity operations. Strong knowledge of networking concepts, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and security monitoring is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM consoles, dashboards, reports, and alerts for security incidents.
• Detect, investigate, validate, and respond to security incidents.
• Perform incident triage and support remediation activities.
• Analyze security events and identify anomalies across enterprise systems.
• Escalate incidents as per defined SLA requirements.
• Monitor overall health and performance of SIEM tools.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for incident resolution.
• Maintain incident knowledge base and documentation.
• Update and maintain log baselines and security monitoring standards.
• Generate and publish daily, weekly, and monthly security reports.
• Ensure timely reporting and communication of security events.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK Framework and threat landscape.
• Experience in SOC Operations and Incident Response.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar/ArcSight/Any SIEM).
• Good understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, and Data Flow.
• Experience in incident detection, triage, analysis, and remediation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity monitoring and alert management.

Certifications

• CCNA (Preferred)
• CEH (Preferred)
